Baby Patrick's Big Adventure-- as told by Baby Patrick;... I had to wait for them all to become distracted to make my break. At thishouse, the wait was not long. After Dancing With The Stars last night the two big girls and I decided we’d actually call up and vote. We like Melissa (and never mind the fact that since she was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader she shouldn’t be eligible— but till they change those rules, we’ll go with who’s the BEST dancer.) Melissa couldn’t perform so they showed a video from her rehearsal and it was really less-than so we thought we’d vote and help out.

We take down the numbers and Maggie dials them on my phone which is on Speaker. A busy signal. Maggie continues to hold open the phone and the annoying “eh, eh, eh, eh, eh” reverberates through my room for about 30 seconds. Finally, I say “hang up” to which Maggie, innocently and seriously asks, “Why?”

Breaking Weblebrity News:

We have breaking information that “NotSoSoccerMom” Internet Author Jill has voluntarily checked herself into Rehab for falling off the wagon.  See related story from 4/23: Intervention- & on Take Your Kids to Work Day, Too.  Jill, who Thursday admitted to an almost 12 year struggle with Bad Brow Addiction (also known as Maybelline Lt Brown Syndrome in psychiatric circles), had openly admitted to regressing back to Too Warm and Too Thin Brows- even after Let’s Call Him Antonio-Brow Guru stepped in to help her once and for all.

This very afternoon, she checked herself into Rainbows & Unicorns, a tony celeb rehab facility in Utah, with hopes of finally beating this addiction. Her husband Jerry said, “We appreciate the public’s support and respect of our privacy at this trying time.”  Jill was last spotted — bad brows and all—being hauled away & muttering, “I hope some good celebs are rehab this week. I mean A-List; none of this Jodie Sweetin from Full House crap. Maybe Lohan will be there and we can hang!”

Jill

Her oldest daughter Margaret is on record as saying, “My mom needs help. It’s worse than we thought. She’s REALLY in a bad place if she wants to meet Lindsay Lohan…”

The goal of today was simple enough.  Maggie asked me “How do you not get writer’s block?”  (because the kids have  mini-blogs online at school & she wonders what to write about). So I thought, “OKAY- seriously, I will take her out of school  for part of the day to come see me write my blog which I really do view as my work.  I picked her up at 10:45am.  It was about 10:47 when the plan unravelled….
