  • It is a shame that Burger King doesn’t make brownies… or is it a blessing?
  • I think a definite way to cheer yourself up when you are down is to read books set in different centuries. Because in my Isabel Allende novel, the hero Tai Chi’en was sold to bad guys when he was five because his parents couldn’t afford to feed him… which makes the fact that Allie Grace took over 40 minutes to bring me my ice water seem kind of okay.
